The application enables airports to <strong>inform passengers of the measures<\/strong> that they should expect, helping them to comply with health and safety requirements.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"The recovery of air travel will depend on passengers' confidence in the industry's attention to their health and well-being.<\/em>explains Luis Felipe de Oliveira, Managing Director of ACI World. <em>Airports are essential cogs in the air transport ecosystem and are major engines of growth. The revival of the airport sector will be a key driver of global economic recovery. Check &amp; Fly and our accreditation programme help them to demonstrate to passengers, regulators and governments that they give the best possible service. <strong>focus on health<\/strong> and safety in a measurable way. This collaboration remains the key to a coordinated global recovery.<\/em>\".<\/p>\n<p>The ACI is also working on the launch of a <strong>Internet portal<\/strong> where passengers will be able to access information directly on the measures put in place at the various airports. The project is currently being finalised, with airports able to integrate their information directly. This will enable the hundreds of dedicated web pages set up by each airport to be concentrated in a single location. Airlines are also offering websites providing information on the documents required and the steps to be taken to enter a country.
