{"id":101889,"date":"2020-11-06T12:50:02","date_gmt":"2020-11-06T11:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=101889"},"modified":"2020-11-06T12:51:53","modified_gmt":"2020-11-06T11:51:53","slug":"lightened-lyria-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lightened-lyria-offer","title":{"rendered":"Reduced rail services on Lyria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just like the other rail operators, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/nouveau-tgv-lyria-decembre-20190924.html\/\">Lyria<\/a> reduced its offer with the confinement imposed in France as in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/souplesse-voyageurs-suisse-20201102.html\/\">Switzerland<\/a><\/strong>. Since 5 November, the Franco-Swiss operator has been tightening up its frequencies between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>Lyria now only offers <strong>three daily return trips<\/strong> between France and Switzerland. <strong>Two daily frequencies<\/strong> are offered between <strong>Paris and Geneva<\/strong> - instead of eight previously. A <strong>daily liaison<\/strong>e also links <strong>Paris to Basel and Zurich<\/strong>. Direct links to <strong>Lausanne<\/strong> have been removed. Lyria states <strong>not charge any exchange or refund fees<\/strong> until 4 January.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, travellers to Switzerland can use the <strong>TER <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/depart-leman-express-20191211.html\/\">Leman Express<\/a><\/strong> on <strong>Geneva<\/strong>. Trains run at the rate of one or two trains per hour between Geneva and Annemasse. The <strong>TER Grand Est<\/strong> also continues to operate between (Strasbourg-)Mulhouse and <strong>Basel<\/strong> with two to three trains per hour.
