These include France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. You need to log on to the<strong> www.einreiseanmeldung.de. <\/strong>The page is available in French, although the names of the countries still appear in German.<\/p>\n<p>You must then complete a questionnaire specifying the means of transport, the day of arrival and the address of residence in Germany. Proof of registration must be provided to the authorities on request.<\/p>\n<p>Information is automatically communicated <strong>the health office at the place of stay<\/strong>. The federal government specifies that all information collected is destroyed 14 days after entry into Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The health office will tell the traveller where to take a second test after five days' quarantine. If the test is negative, the quarantine is lifted. This obligation to register is necessary even if you have had a negative covid test.<\/p>\n<p>A new development is Germany's recognition of the <strong>antigenic tests<\/strong>. According to the Robert Koch Institute, which is responsible for health protection, \"the <strong>antigen tests<\/strong> for the direct detection of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus <strong>are accepted from all countries, provided they meet the minimum criteria recommended by the WHO<\/strong> for the quality of SARS-CoV-2-Ag rapid tests\".<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Border workers exempt<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There is an exemption to this compulsory 5- or 10-day quarantine. <strong>Cross-border commuters staying for a maximum of 24 hours are not required to<\/strong>. The same rule applies to journeys to the <strong>Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg<\/strong>the <strong>Rhineland-Palatinate<\/strong> and the <strong>Saarland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>By order of the federal government, hotels are no longer accepting tourists, but some are still open for business travellers.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, it is Germans travelling to France who are most at risk of possible sanctions, particularly for unnecessary travel!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since 8 November, new rules have been in force for passengers travelling to Germany.
