Incentive trips, designed to reward corporate clients and employees, have been similarly frozen due to health risks and border closures, but also for budgetary reasons.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/melia-innside-paris-cdg-20190401.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Melia Hotels International<\/a>, for whom these reward trips represented 10 % of its MICE revenues in 2019, intends to support this segment through a programme adapted to the Covid period, i.e. with incentive trips that are no longer in groups, but individual. Or, to put it another way, as the end of the year approaches, the Spanish group, which includes in its range of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/melia-hotels-legende-carioca-projets-20170126.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">numerous resorts<\/a> and hotels adapted to short urban stays, offers companies the chance to thank their employees and partners at Christmas with hotel stays.<\/p>\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>Offering individual travel as a reward for your efforts is the best option at a time when group travel can be subject to certain restrictions.<\/em>\" confirms Jos\u00e9 Miguel Moreno, Senior Director of Worldwide B2B Sales and Marketing at Meli\u00e1 Hotels International.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is linked to the Spanish group's loyalty programme through the purchase of Meli\u00e1Rewards points to be distributed among people chosen by the company. Employees and customers will then be able to use them whenever they wish and choose the time, destination, type of hotel and duration of their trip. All with the assurance provided by the Stay Safe with Meli\u00e1 programme, a health protocol certified by Bureau Veritas.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At a time when companies
