This represents around 70 % of the total number of destinations in a normal winter season.<\/p>\n<p>In December, the Group will be offering almost <strong>700 direct weekly frequencies<\/strong> departing from <strong>Madrid Bajaras<\/strong>. This is one of the main measures to boost business travel. One third of European destinations are now served by two daily return flights. This is particularly the case for <strong>Paris <\/strong>or<strong> Brussels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On 80 % of its domestic routes, Iberia is also offering at least two daily flights. This Monday 16 November, the carrier is relaunching its <strong>Airlift bridge<\/strong> <strong>(Puente A\u00e9reo)<\/strong> between Madrid and Barcelona with seven return flights a day. At <strong>end of October<\/strong> its links to <strong>Sao Paulo<\/strong>. <strong>Madrid-Rio de Janeiro<\/strong> will follow in December as well as <strong>Madrid-Caracas<\/strong>. However, this last route depends on the Venezuelan government authorising the resumption of international flights.<\/p>\n<p>With flights to Medell\u00edn and Cali in Colombia over the Christmas period, Iberia will be offering scheduled and seasonal flights to all the countries in its American network.
