The index <strong>\"Safe Travel Score<\/strong> <strong>is an industry first<\/strong>. It was created during the summer when borders were reopened following the first wave of covid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The health safety rating is based on an independent audit that analyses <strong>26 health and safety measures for travellers<\/strong>. It also takes into account initiatives to make travel comfortable, the excellence of a service adapted to the crisis, the measures put in place by the authorities to simplify travel and, finally, the overall experience of travellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Safe Travel Score methodology is based on <strong>three categories<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Safety protocols in place before and at the time of travel.<\/li><li>Simplicity and ease of protocol for travellers.<\/li><li>Excellent service on the ground and on board.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These factors have a direct or psychological impact on travellers' decisions at the present time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/espace-economique-emirates-20210308.html\/\" data-id=\"106463\">More private space in economy class with Emirates<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-trois-compagnies-du-golfe-au-top-10\"><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Three Gulf carriers in the top 10<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the top 10 companies offering the best passenger health insurance, <strong>the three major Gulf carriers - Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways - come out on top.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Dubai, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/parcours-biometrique-emirates-20201027.html\/\"><strong>Emirates<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;received a score of 4.4 out of 5.0 for travel safety. The airline has implemented numerous initiatives to promote passenger health and safety. Mandatory use of masks, systematic cleaning of the aircraft after each flight and disinfection of toilets several times during the flight are just some of the measures taken by the airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the carrier offers <strong>a very proactive and generous flight change and cancellation policy<\/strong>In addition to offering a <strong>free covid insurance<\/strong>. All these measures offer maximum transparency and security for travellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/assurance-globale-covid-etihad-20200909.html\/\"><strong>Etihad<\/strong> <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-frederic-gossot-qatar-airways-20191021.html\/\"><strong>Qatar Airways<\/strong><\/a> offer very similar health services, with the former scoring 4.3 and the latter 4.2. In all, 23 companies out of the 230 analysed have a score of at least 4. <strong>In Europe, Air France, Iberia and Lufthansa scored 4.1<\/strong> on the Safe Travel Score scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three Asian airlines are also in the top 10 - <strong>Singapore Airlines, Air China <\/strong>and <strong>Vistara<\/strong> (India), also with a score of 4.1. <strong>Delta Airlines<\/strong> is the <strong>only American company<\/strong> in the top 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/emirates-carte-embarquement-digitale-20230522.html\/\" data-id=\"148991\">Emirates: an exclusively digital boarding pass<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The \"Safe Travel Barometer\" website, which has been analysing health and hygiene protocols in air transport since August, has just named Emirates Airlines the safest airline to travel with.
