Grab<\/strong><\/a> in just a few years the leading car-sharing service in South-East Asia<\/strong> but also meal deliveries<\/strong>. Founded in 2012, the company operates in 500 Asian towns across eight countries<\/strong>. On average more than 2.5 million people use the application every day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A windfall of customers that could not leave anyone indifferent Marriott International<\/strong><\/a>. At the end of October, the two companies signed a major strategic partnership. The agreement will enable the two companies to integrate their offerings. Marriott International is joining the largest applications platform in South-East Asia. For Grab, it is the the largest ever partnership with a hotel group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Integration in South-East Asia<\/span><\/h3>\n

November saw the first effects of this integration between Grab and Marriott at Singapore<\/strong>. This is a first step, as Grab users will eventually be able to access an online restaurant offer at 600 restaurants and bars in Marriott establishments throughout South-East Asia. The offer concerns Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The agreement also allows users of the application to pay for their meals in a Marriott hotel with GrabPay<\/strong>. Singapore will be the first market to apply GrabPay in Marriott's food and beverage outlets.<\/p>\n
