But they could soon be disillusioned if their refusal to be vaccinated with covid suddenly closes the doors to their planes...<\/p>\n<p>Because the<strong>There is a very real risk that the future of air transport will involve vaccines.<\/strong>. In an interview on the Australian television network Channel Nine, the <strong>CEO of the national airline Qantas<\/strong>Alan Joyce, was categorical. The CEO felt that <strong>passengers would certainly need to be vaccinated<\/strong> as soon as an anti-covid vaccine is available.<\/p>\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>We are considering amending our general conditions so that we can ask people to be vaccinated before boarding a plane on a <strong>international flight<\/strong><\/em>\" confirmed Mr Joyce. \"\u00a0<em>We think that for international visitors and people leaving the country, it's a great way to make a difference. <strong>necessity<\/strong><\/em>\" he added.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #a71f31\">A \"vaccine passport\" for flying<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The company is looking into the possibility of requiring passengers to have a <strong>vaccination passport<\/strong> that would allow them to travel. <strong>This passport could appear in an electronic version<\/strong>. When checking in online, passengers should transfer this health document to the airline. This formality already exists for a traditional passport.<\/p>\n<p>No official decision has yet been taken, but Alan Joyce has indicated that his teams are already working on this regulation with the Australian government.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A movement like this has every chance of being emulated in the rest of the world.<\/strong>. We are awaiting the legal and medical opinions of the European Union, the American administration and Asian countries...
