While the Geneva hotel industry has been particularly hard hit by the consequences of the pandemic, as demonstrated by the closure of one of the city's historic flagships, Le Richemond, a new hotel is preparing to enter the market. Expected next spring, The Woodward<\/strong> will complete the Oetker Collection, which already includes nine luxury establishments such as the Bristol<\/a> in Paris, the Lanesborough in London and the Palacio Tangara in Sao Paulo. \" Our hotels are unique masterpieces and The Woodward fits perfectly into our collection with its extraordinary location, refined interior design and exciting culinary offering.<\/em> \"said Timo Gruenert, CEO of Oetker Collection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Located on the banks of Lake Geneva, quai Wilson, The Woodward is housed in a post-Haussmann-style building, the headquarters of a former bank at the beginning of the 20th century, currently being transformed under the leadership of Pierre-Yves Rochon. First to Geneva<\/a> to be only<\/strong> made up of suites <\/strong>- With the exception of the Fraser Suites hotel residence, this particular hotel, in every sense of the word, will offer 26 suites with a library and marble fireplace, 21 suites with a direct view of the lake and Mont Blanc.<\/p>\n

On the catering side, the offer will obviously be prestigious, with two gastronomic restaurants, a Jo\u00ebl Robuchon's workshop<\/strong> and Le Jardinier, the first European address from Michelin-starred chef Alain Verzeroli following his success in New York and Miami. The Woodward will also offer two bars and a tea room, as well as a private lounge. Wellness will also be in the spotlight, with a 1,200 square metre spa and a Guerlain institute<\/strong> with a 21-metre indoor swimming pool.
