\"2021 is still likely to be a complex year of transition<\/strong>. Vaccines will be a very important step in controlling the pandemic without waiting for it to end naturally, but they will not immediately signal a return to normality. We are only at the very beginning of the story. If the first vaccines prove to be as effective as preliminary studies show, and if countries organise appropriate vaccination campaigns, we won't start to see the results until the end of the pandemic.after a few months<\/strong>. It will take time for protection to develop at an individual level, then collectively at the level of a country, then a region, and finally at a global level.<\/p>\n

We need to anticipate this: the current situation is likely to persist. Particularly as, in addition to the health aspect, there are also security risks, with countries completely disrupted by the consequences of the pandemic. This is already the case today, with economic and political turbulence<\/strong>. These situations of instability could have an impact on the safety of expatriate employees in these countries, as well as on the mobility of those who have to travel there.<\/p>\n
