{"id":104011,"date":"2021-01-12T12:42:31","date_gmt":"2021-01-12T11:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=104011"},"modified":"2023-03-06T14:57:49","modified_gmt":"2023-03-06T13:57:49","slug":"saudi-arabia-reopening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/saudi-arabia-reopening","title":{"rendered":"Saudi Arabia plans to reopen its borders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Saudi authorities plan to open all land, sea and air borders completely<\/strong> of the Saudi kingdom from <strong>31 March<\/strong>following the closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new directive will then authorise its citizens and legal residents to travel outside the Kingdom. This measure will finally allow international commercial flights to resume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the <strong>international travel and cross-border traffic will continue to be subject to restrictions<\/strong> related to the covid-19 pandemic. For foreign visitors, only holders of a valid entry\/exit, work or residence visa may enter the Kingdom. <strong>Tourist trips of any kind are still prohibited<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/billets-avion-visa-saudia-20230202.html\/\" data-id=\"141895\">Saudia's plane tickets also serve as a transit visa for Saudi Arabia<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>To visit Saudi Arabia, travellers must present a <strong>negative Covid-19 test less than 72 hours old<\/strong> before departure. Failure to do so will result in the passenger being denied boarding. Passengers must also complete <strong>a health liability waiver form<\/strong>. They must also <strong>download and register for tracking applications<\/strong> Tatamman' and 'Tawakkalna' before their arrival in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All arrivals are subject to a maximum of <strong>seven days quarantine at home<\/strong>. However, the quarantine period can be reduced to three days after completion of an additional covid-19 test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reprise-des-lignes-aeriennes-entre-arabie-saoudite-et-qatar\"><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Air services resume between Saudi Arabia and Qatar<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/normalisation-qatar-pays-golfe-20210106.html\/\"><strong>lifting of the embargo between Saudi Arabia and Qatar<\/strong> <\/a>results in <strong>resumption of air services between the two countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company <strong>Qatar Airways<\/strong> is once again offering a daily flight between Doha and Riyadh. This will be followed by four frequencies a week to Jeddah on 14 January and a daily flight to Damman from 16 January. <strong>Saudia<\/strong> offers a daily service to Doha with four flights a week from Riyadh and three flights a week from Jeddah.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to local media, Saudi Arabia plans to reopen its air, sea and land borders at the end of March.
