{"id":104181,"date":"2021-01-14T19:01:32","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T18:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=104181"},"modified":"2021-01-19T10:49:08","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T09:49:08","slug":"border-control-curfew-18h","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/border-control-curfew-18h","title":{"rendered":"Tighter border controls and 6 p.m. curfew in France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As well as announcing the introduction of a <strong>curfew from 6pm<\/strong> Throughout France, in order to avoid further confinement as far as possible, Prime Minister Jean Castex has announced reinforced border control measures.<\/p>\n<p>From Monday 18 January, all travellers arriving from outside the European Union will have to present <strong>a negative PCR test carried out 72 hours before departure<\/strong> to enter France. In addition, they will have to give a sworn undertaking to isolate themselves for seven days before undergoing a new PCR test.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to arrivals from EU countries, the ministers will be working on a coordination framework between now and the European Council meeting on 21 January, which will include exceptions for cross-border workers.<\/p>\n<p>The tougher measures also apply to the French overseas departments, to protect against the circulation of high-risk variants. Tests will now be compulsory both before departure for these destinations and on return to France, which was not the case until now.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PCR tests
