This will make it possible to check whether pre-departure tests or vaccinations satisfy the requirements imposed at the destination.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers will also be able to <strong>share test and vaccination certificates with the relevant authorities and airlines<\/strong> to make their journey easier. Emirates travellers will be able to inform the airline of the status of their COVID-19 tests even before arriving at the airport, thanks to the application, which will transmit the details to the airline.<\/p>\n<p>At <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/etihad-technologie-depistage-20200407.html\/\"><strong>Etihad<\/strong><\/a>The Travel Pass will be available on <strong>certain flights from Abu Dhabi in the first quarter of 2021<\/strong>. If the experiment is a success, it will be extended to other destinations in the Etihad Airways network.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">A la carte verification modules <\/span><\/h2>\n<p>According to Nick Careen, IATA Vice President, Airports, Passengers, Freight and Security, \"IATA's Travel Pass is an important step towards a more efficient and secure air transport system. <strong>substantial upturn in international travel<\/strong>. \" He added: \"Our aim is to give all governments the confidence they need to reopen borders to travellers. They will rely on verified data on vaccinations and tests. As borders reopen, the Travel Pass will incorporate new capabilities to meet all requirements.\"<\/p>\n<p>The IATA Travel Pass was developed in <strong>four independent modules that can interact<\/strong>. These modules cover :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>registers of regulatory entry requirements and of laboratories and test centres<\/li>\n<li>the issue of verified certificates<\/li>\n<li>digital identity<\/li>\n<li>the possibility for passengers to share their test results using their mobile device throughout their journey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These modules can work together to form a complete end-to-end solution. Or they can be used separately to complement systems developed by others. <strong>What's more, they are interoperable with other industry solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>IATA is also supporting a European Union initiative to create a <strong>covid-19 digital vaccination certificate<\/strong>.
