This measure affects most European travellers wishing to enter the country. Until now, the measure only applied to<strong> travellers from countries outside the European Union<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This new compulsory testing measure will not apply to entries by road or rail.<\/strong>. This is to avoid creating additional difficulties for border workers. France also recognises the impossibility of checking all international stations and border roads.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Switzerland puts PACA in quarantine<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>These restrictions should further slow down the movement of intra-European travellers. They should support the European Union's recommendation. During the European Council, the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, asked the <strong>Europeans to avoid unnecessary travel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It should also be noted that the <strong>Switzerland to require compulsory quarantine for travellers from the PACA region<\/strong>. The region is considered \"high-risk\" by the authorities because of its high contamination rate.<\/p>\n<p>The decision to include a State or zone on the list depends on the incidence over the last 14 days. It is based on the ratio of new infections per 100,000 people. If the incidence in a country exceeds <b>at least 60 that of Switzerland<\/b>The country or region is on this list. Travellers must register with the local authorities within 48 hours of arrival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Switzerland has a rate of 361 cases per 100,000 people, compared with 195.9 in France.<\/strong>. In the PACA region, the incidence rate yesterday was 328 per 100,000 people.
