In this way, business travellers on their way to the airport have access to information relating to their forthcoming journey, including flights departing from Paris-Orly and the weather in their destination towns. On the return journey to Antony, these communicating windows inform passengers of the times of the next RER B trains. In addition, France 24 - a partner in the project - will be enriching this content with continuous international news.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>bring the Orlyval line up to international airport service standards<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\"<em>This project of screens integrated into the windows was born out of the desire to bring the Orlyval line up to international airport service standards.<\/em>\"Lionel Le Fessant, Sales and Quality Director and Passenger Information Project Manager for Orlyval Service, points out that the system is a first: \"It's the first of its kind in the world.<em>Integrating these screens into the windows of completely refurbished equipment is something that cannot be done anywhere else.<\/em>\".<\/p>\n<h3>Tests on buses, trams and the metro in 2021<\/h3>\n<p>Currently reserved for travellers to and from Orly, this innovation could well become widespread. In fact, those in charge of the project are opening the door to much wider deployment, as Lionel Le Fessant explains: \"<em>By overcoming all the technical difficulties, we have demonstrated that it is possible to reproduce this passenger information system on different types of equipment: trams, metros, trains and buses.<\/em>\". A number of experiments are already planned by <strong>\u00cele-de-France Mobilit\u00e9s<\/strong> from <strong>2021<\/strong>.
