The Avlo was originally scheduled to enter service in <strong>April 2020<\/strong>. But the sudden arrival of the pandemic forced RENFE to postpone the project until a better time...<\/p>\n<p>These better times are still a long way off, but the rail operator has decided to launch its low-cost trains all the same. This special rate will remain on sale until mid-February. <strong>Tickets for Avlo<\/strong> are <strong>since 1 February<\/strong> also available on the <strong>RENFE's classic sales site<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Four journeys a day<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Along the north-east high-speed corridor, <strong>two trains will run non-stop between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/madrid-azca-castellana-20171204.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Madrid<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/barcelone-quartier-22-renaissance-20200211.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Barcelona<\/a> morning and evening<\/strong>offering an alternative for business travellers. The journey takes 2? hours. In the middle of the day, the train also stops at <strong>Zaragoza<\/strong>. Finally, in the evening, an Avlo will act as an \"omnibus\". It will make stops in Guadalajara, Calatayud, Zaragoza, Lleida, Tarragona and Girona, in addition to the Catalan capital. The timetables are valid until 11 December 2021. The journey from Madrid to Barcelona on this train will then take 3h25...<\/p>\n<p>As with the SNCF's OUIGO trains, Avlo offers a range of <strong>additional services at extra cost<\/strong>. The cost is <strong>eight euros to cancel or change your ticket<\/strong> and also <strong>eight euros to reserve a seat<\/strong>. Passengers may amend or cancel their ticket up to <strong>30 minutes before departure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, if the rate includes a <strong>hand luggage<\/strong> and a <strong>cabin suitcase<\/strong> (55x35x25 cm), you have to pay ten euros for a large piece of luggage. The good news is: <strong>electric socket and wifi are included<\/strong> in the tariff offer.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the launch of Avlo special rates, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renfe.com\/es\/fr\/viajar\/tarifas\/billetes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>RENFE is offering a special anniversary promotion until 14 February<\/strong> <\/a>for its AVE high-speed trains. This promotion is valid for journeys made between 23 June and 11 December.
