While this double protection has been compulsory for all passengers since July, with the application of very strict health measures, it remained \"at the discretion of the passenger in Q Suite class\".<\/p>\n<p>It is true that in the very luxurious business class of the Qatari carrier, the spacing between the seats and the existence of sliding walls offer considerable isolation. On the face of it, the configuration of the Q Suite has every chance of providing sanitary protection for...<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vapo-content\" style=\"display:none\"><p><strong>Qatar Airways<\/strong> had already announced a few weeks ago that it was exempting its passengers from the <strong>Q Suite Class<\/strong> to wear transparent protection over their masks. While this double protection has been compulsory for all passengers since July, with the application of very strict health measures, it remained \"at the discretion of the passenger in Q Suite class\".<\/p>\n<p>It is true that in the very luxurious business class of the Qatari carrier, the spacing between the seats and the existence of sliding walls offer significant isolation. On the face of it, the configuration of the Q Suite has every chance of providing sanitary protection for each passenger.<\/p>\n<p>Now it's the turn of <strong>Cathay Pacific<\/strong> to take this step for its First and Business Class passengers. This measure only applies to <strong>long-haul routes<\/strong>. The airline says it is now allowing passengers in both premium classes to remove their masks. There is one restriction, however: this favour is only available when the seat is in <strong>berth position<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We now expect other airlines to follow suit in the near future.
