With SingapoReimagine, the Singapore Tourism Board is positioning the City-State as a pioneering destination in the transformation of international travel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

True to its DNA, Singapore intends to build on the strengths that have made it a world leader. smart city model<\/a> technology, nature, sustainable development and safety. On this last point - so crucial to reassure travellers - the programme SingapoReimagine<\/strong> includes the \"Reimagine Safety<\/strong>. Just like the quality label \"SG Clean<\/strong>which imposes strict levels of hygiene and disinfection on all tourist establishments, everything has been put in place to ensure the safety of travellers. As for the \"Reimagine Technology<\/strong>It confirms the unprecedented emphasis placed on innovation at the heart of the Asian hub, notably through the use of contactless technologies and robotics. These are invaluable tools, whether for ensuring the safety of international visitors with the TraceTogether application, or for exploring new formats for business tourism, such as the infrastructures that are multiplying in the hybrid events segment. All based on a pragmatic, three-stage approach: \"Learn, Test, Build<\/strong>\u00a0(\"Learn, try, create\") which has already proved its worth in Singapore.<\/p>\n

From Changi to Marina Bay Sands, already some concrete examples<\/h3>\n

The main points of contact for international travellers in Singapore have already begun their transformation, such as Changi Airport<\/strong>This is the gateway to the City-State, which is already world-renowned for the quality of its infrastructure. In particular, the international airport has installed check-in and baggage drop-off kiosks equipped with sensors so that travellers do not have to touch the screens, and immigration checks now incorporate biometric technology. Other tests are underway in the same \"contactless\" logic, such as an infrared system in the lifts. The use of innovation to redefine sanitary standards is also reflected in the deployment of robots for cleaning, or the use of ultraviolet LEDs to disinfect the handrails of escalators and passengers.<\/p>\n

Another meeting point for business customers, the Marina Bay Sands<\/strong> is also foreshadowing the normality of tomorrow. The famous Singaporean hotel and convention centre was the first establishment in the City-State to introduce an intelligent queue management system for checking in guests, who can reserve time slots in advance to speed up the process. As for sanitary facilities, each room is cleaned using the latest electrostatic spraying technology. Above all, to meet the specific needs of MICE customers, the MBS has inaugurated a hybrid event broadcasting studio that takes the organisation of events into a new dimension, enhanced by holograms and mixed reality. And other innovations are already planned to open up new horizons for event organisers...<\/p>\n

The latest example of this ability to test new concepts is the opening this month of Connect@Changi<\/strong>a \"bubble hotel\", which allows business travellers to avoid a strict fourteen<\/a>. Clearly targeting the business clientele, the 150-room establishment is fully configured to provide an ultra-secure stay while meeting local contacts. The 40 meeting rooms - this number will be multiplied by four - are equipped with glass walls and communication systems to enable international meetings to be organised without disturbing local and foreign participants. This new hotel, located next to the airport, paves the way for a completely new travel experience, revitalising the meetings industry and positioning Singapore as the world's leading business destination. the<\/em> a new global meeting point.<\/p>\n
