What are FREENOW's new environmental commitments?<\/h3>\n

Auriane Nirascou -<\/strong> FREENOW<\/strong> is one of the leaders in mobility in Europe and in VTC in France, and we are present in 10 countries<\/strong> and 100 cities on the European market<\/strong>. Given our influence, it is therefore our duty to commit ourselves to a greener, more responsible mobility<\/strong>. That's why we're making a promise to our users, to our host cities and to all Europeans that we'll turn this ambition into reality by becoming Net Zero Carbon by 2030<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What does this mean in practical terms for the development of your fleet of partner vehicles?<\/h3>\n

Auriane Nirascou -<\/strong> Visit 2030<\/strong>all journeys made using the FREENOW<\/strong> will be emission-free<\/strong>in all our markets, including the United States. France<\/strong> of course. Today, we are already offsetting all our residual emissions by financing the planting of 20,000 trees<\/strong> every year across Europe, making FREENOW carbon neutral. Now we want to go one step further by encouraging the community to choose greener mobility solutions. This objective has been driven by our employees, who are the first supporters of this initiative.<\/p>\n

How do you intend to meet this challenge?<\/h3>\n

Auriane Nirascou -<\/strong> We are well aware that this is an ambitious goal. What's more, we'll be 20 years ahead of the rest of the world. Paris agreements<\/strong> and we are the first European mobility platform to make this commitment. FREENOW has therefore allocated 100 million in resources<\/strong> to promote and support our partner drivers in the transition to more environmentally-friendly modes of transport.<\/p>\n

What will be the keys to your strategy to enable FREENOW to achieve these ambitious goals?<\/h3>\n

Auriane Nirascou -<\/strong> Our strategy is based on three pillars<\/strong> that will enable us to achieve Net Zero Carbon<\/strong>. Starting with make 50% of our fleet 100% electric by the end of 2025<\/strong>. As a reminder, FREENOW currently has the largest electric fleet in Paris and London<\/strong>. In Paris, our \"green\" fleet is 100% electric compared with that of our competitors.<\/p>\n

We will also be developing our micro-mobility<\/strong> for short journeys, so that as many people as possible don't have to use a car to get around. We already offer a wide range of micro-mobility options, depending on the market and the type of vehicle. this momentum is set to accelerate in France in the near future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, we will make it easier to recharge electric vehicles<\/strong> of our partner drivers by improving access to the kiosks. This is particularly the case thanks to our partnership with the RATP<\/strong> and soon with Shell<\/strong>. A strategic alliance will also be formed with ChargeNOW<\/strong>an entity in the same group as FREENOW, which brings together more than 175,000 recharging points in Europe<\/strong>. This partnership approach will continue, as we believe it is essential if we are to achieve our objectives.<\/p>\n

What does this mean in concrete terms for FREENOW for Business?<\/h3>\n

Auriane Nirascou -<\/strong> Today, FREENOW for Business<\/strong> account over 3,500 corporate customers in France and 30,000 across Europe<\/strong>. As we can see, our corporate customers have a real need for support when it comes to CSR issues, and this has become systematic over the last few years. By choosing a VTC partner who is committed to becoming net zero carbon, the company can commit to a genuine environmental approach, and work with a partner who shares the same vision. A partnership with FREENOW for Business<\/strong> enables companies to benefit from personalised support on CSR issues, and to receive advice, for example, on setting up travel rules that encourage employees to order an electric car rather than a more polluting vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
