As a result, <strong>Swiss national airline's summer schedule will be much more limited than expected<\/strong>especially in the second quarter.<\/p>\n<p>According to Tamur Goudarzi Pour, Chief Commercial Officer at Swiss, \"we have again been forced to reduce our offer due to the increased travel restrictions caused by the high levels of contamination. This summer, it will serve <strong>85 destinations from Zurich<\/strong> and <strong>43 from Geneva<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>From Zurich, Swiss will only offer <strong>two new destinations<\/strong>. From 25 June, it will be flying twice a week to <strong>Tallinn<\/strong> in Estonia. From 2 July, it will also be offering two weekly flights to <strong>Billund<\/strong>in Denmark. The town is the headquarters of toy manufacturer Lego, but is also at the heart of Jutland and its network of industrial towns. The airport faces Europe's largest theme park, Legoland.<\/p>\n<p>Swiss also intends to resume a number of European and intercontinental routes which are currently suspended. <strong>On the long-haul side<\/strong>the carrier will resume up to five weekly flights to <strong>Miami<\/strong> from 28 March. <strong>Boston<\/strong> will benefit from up to one daily flight from May 1st and <strong>Los Angeles<\/strong> up to five frequencies per week from 2 May. Swiss plans to resume flights <strong>Zurich - Cairo<\/strong> with four flights a week from 1<sup>er\u00a0<\/sup>July.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Return from Bordeaux-Zurich<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On the short-haul side, Swiss will take over from 1<sup>er<\/sup> April service to <strong>Ni\u0161<\/strong> in Serbia, and <strong>Sarajevo<\/strong>. On these two cities, it will offer one or two flights a week. From 12 May, passengers will once again have 12 flights a week between <strong>Zurich and London City Airport<\/strong>. Finally on 18 June, <strong>Swiss to relaunch Bordeaux-Zurich service<\/strong> with five weekly flights. The carrier will also be increasing its routes to Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Naples, Palma de Mallorca, Thessaloniki and Vienna.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/swiss-reduit-geneve-20210203.html\/\"><strong>Geneva<\/strong><\/a>On 19 June, Swiss will launch two flights a week to <strong>Santorini <\/strong>then on 2 July to <strong>Split<\/strong>. From September, one flight a week will be offered on <strong>Funchal<\/strong>on the island of Madeira. Among the destinations most frequently served this summer from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/geneve-luxe-calme-et-efficacite-20160107.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geneva<\/a> will include London Heathrow, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/athenes-crise-et-redressement-20190506.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Athens<\/a>Porto and Lisbon.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Swiss will offer only five new destinations from Zurich and Geneva.
