The flight will continue to <strong>Washington-Dulles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Air Senegal will be the<strong>the only African carrier on the Dakar-New York route<\/strong>. The company will have to face <strong>fierce competition from Delta Air Lines<\/strong> on the same route. The new flight to the United States will connect with the carrier's African network. It has 32 seats in business class, 21 in premium economy and 237 in economy. The aircraft will offer on-board Wi-Fi, and passengers will benefit from a baggage allowance of 46 kg (two pieces).<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the news, Ibrahima Kane, Managing Director of Air Senegal, explained that an air link between the two countries would be opened in the near future. <strong>Senegal and the United States<\/strong> in fact represents a <strong>priority market for the country's diaspora<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>With this new flight, Air Senegal will make the USA even more accessible, offering even better connectivity.<\/em>he added.<\/p>\n<p>However, the company has <strong>gave up flying<\/strong> for the moment to <strong>London<\/strong>. It had obtained the rights to serve the<strong>Stansted airport<\/strong> to the north of the capital. Planned for June 2020, the inauguration of the line had been postponed due to the pandemic.
