Already well established in Eastern Europe<\/strong>Accor has a number of projects underway in the region. Recently, in Poland, the Wiazowna Brant hotel joined the Mercure family, a brand which already has around twenty hotels in the country. Located near Warsaw, in the natural setting of the Masovian Landscape Park, this complex opened in 2009 and offers 60 rooms. In addition to its leisure facilities, it is also ideal for seminars in the great outdoors, with its five meeting rooms accommodating up to 200 people. Accor's expansion in Poland also involves the M\u00f6venpick brand<\/strong> with an expected opening in Wroclaw in early 2023, the result of the takeover of a historic hotel in the city, the Hotel Grand. In the meantime, this hotel with its rich heritage will be renovated and expanded, as part of a long-term project to revitalise the area around the new central railway station. When it opens, the M\u00f6venpick Wroclaw will offer 180 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and meeting rooms. It will become the brand's fourth establishment in Poland, after those in preparation in Kolobrzeg - on the Baltic Sea -, Poznan and Zakopane<\/strong>. Expected to open in 2022, it will, as in Wroclaw, see the transformation and extension of a historic hotel in the mountain resort, the Imperial.<\/p>\n

Albania, Romania and the Baltic States on Accor's agenda<\/h3>\n

Prior to the planned openings in Poland, the dominant top-of-the-range brand will also be setting up in Albania<\/strong>In July, M\u00f6venpick will take over the operation of the Aqua Hotel by Lura on the Adriatic coast to the north of Durr\u00ebs. For the occasion, M\u00f6venpick will take over the operation of a recent hotel, the Aqua Hotel by Lura, located on the Adriatic coast, north of Durr\u00ebs. The opening of this international chain hotel will contribute to the development of tourism in Albania, a country where Accor has a strong presence. two other projects<\/strong> with the recent announcement of the signature of an MGallery, with a 112-room resort due to open in 2024 in Palasa, on the Ionian coast. Another development announced is an ibis Styles in Tirana, a 75-room hotel located in a building complex currently under construction in the Albanian capital, which will welcome its first customers next year.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the budget brand with a lifestyle accent has just taken over a hotel in Bulgaria, on the shores of the Black Sea, which became the ibis Styles Roomer Hotel Golden Sands in May. In addition to the Balkans, the brand will also be offering heading north of Europe in 2022, to Lithuania<\/strong>. In Kaunas, the Magnus hotel is undergoing a refurbishment phase to become part of the ibis Styles brand next year, with an 82-room hotel crowned by a rooftop bar and equipped with a conference area.<\/p>\n

Another Baltic capital, Tallinn will see the opening of a Novotel Living long-stay hotel at the end of 2022.<\/strong>located between the old town and the port. Business travellers staying in the Estonian capital for a while will find 124 studios and two-bedroom flats, as well as a coworking space, a fitness centre, a restaurant and coliving areas reserved for residents, known as 'Club Houses'.<\/p>\n
