After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lille-euralille-carnet-dadresses-20201006.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lille<\/a> recently and Paris some time ago - at Bastille and Roissy-CDG - the brand is adding a new address in Bordeaux. To mark the occasion, this lively, design-led brand has found a new home. <strong>a situation in its image, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lyon-mama-works-bordeaux-20180131.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bassins \u00e0 Flot<\/a><\/strong>. Close to the Cit\u00e9 du Vin, this former port area is currently being revitalised, and all 133 rooms at the hotel have a view of this transformation. Depending on their preference, guests can choose between a panoramic view of the port or the docks - or even the garden - with the residents of the five rooftop rooms also enjoying the privilege of a 26m2 panoramic terrace.<\/p>\n<p>The Moxy Bordeaux takes the brand's fundamentals a step further, with rooms that are optimised for space, but with top-of-the-range bedding and a walk-in shower. All of which can be served with the specialities on offer, such as the vegetarian burger or the 'hot duck', the Bordeaux version of the hot dog. The decor of the place is also based on <strong>local know-how<\/strong>Moxy called on street artist Beatoa, Landes-based designer Woodstach for the stools, and artisan Shoodrik, based on the island of R\u00e9, for the lamps made from recycled bicycles.<\/p>\n<p>Guests will be able to enjoy a contemporary, relaxed atmosphere in the lobby, with a sofa-book corner, table d'h\u00f4tes, and more. <strong>central benches for informal meetings and a secluded workspace<\/strong>. In fine weather, travellers can sit out on the terrace designed by landscape architects Fran\u00e7ois Neveux and Bernard Rouyer. A sort of urban oasis, this <strong>\"silo garden<\/strong> is part of the industrial and port history of the Bassins \u00e0 Flot, as it surrounds former grain silos.<\/p>\n<h3>Renaissance of the Bassins \u00e0 Flot<\/h3>\n<p>Two of these former silos are 35 metres high and can be seen in their entirety. <strong>converted to the new hotel history of the site, as part of the Renaissance hotel<\/strong>. Another new Marriott hotel, sharing its garden with the Moxy, will open its doors on 7 June. While the first silo acts as an airlock between the outside and the inside, the second opens onto the lobby and plunges visitors into a d\u00e9cor designed by interior architect Michael Malapert. The hotel's arty spirit is evident from the moment you enter the second silo, with the golden dots evoking the grains stored there, the work of Alix Waline, as well as the triptych decorating the connecting gallery leading to the lobby and some of the works in the bedrooms.<\/p>\n<p>The 149-room top-of-the-range hotel is also, and above all, distinguished by its <strong>ninth and top floor with terraces and panoramic views<\/strong> on the Aquitaine and Chaban Delmas bridges or the nearby Cit\u00e9 du Vin. There, hotel guests will find a swimming pool like a \"suspended pool\" in the air, but with a seaside atmosphere that is also reflected in the decoration of the cocktail bar, inspired by the cabins of the Arcachon Basin. It's a place that stays lively late into the night, with a special focus on Spritz. It's a great way to get into the Italian mood before dining at the Gina restaurant, a chic and relaxed trattoria with a menu of antipasti and pizzas.<\/p>\n<p>Perfect for relaxing, <strong>the Renaissance is also ready for business meetings<\/strong>. Easily accessible from both Bordeaux-M\u00e9rignac airport and the Saint-Jean railway station, and next door to the Cit\u00e9 du Vin, the establishment offers four meeting rooms open to the outside world. Three of them are on the ground floor and can be transformed into a 258 m2 plenary session, all with the privilege of being extended by a 170 m2 private terrace. The last, more exclusive room, measuring 50 m2, is located on the top floor on the roof of the hotel. The hotel also lends itself to nomadic work in its library and caff\u00e8 shop overlooking the garden.<\/p>\n<p><a
