{"id":110431,"date":"2021-06-07T13:25:08","date_gmt":"2021-06-07T11:25:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=110431"},"modified":"2022-02-07T17:02:23","modified_gmt":"2022-02-07T16:02:23","slug":"paris-nice-delta-air-lines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/paris-nice-delta-air-lines","title":{"rendered":"Delta Air Lines back in love with France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>That was all it took for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/delta-suppression-immobilisation-siege-central-20210401.html\/\"><strong>Delta Air Lines<\/strong> <\/a>announces the reopening of flights to France. <strong>Confirmation from the French government that American visitors will once again be able to stay in France from 9 June<\/strong> is seen as excellent news by Delta's management.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers simply need to present proof of full vaccination with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency. This must be accompanied by a negative covid test less than 72 hours old for a PCR test and less than 48 hours old for an antigenic test.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, <strong>Delta serves Paris-CDG twice a day from Atlanta, once a day from New York-JFK and three times a week from Detroit.<\/strong>. From <strong>7 July<\/strong>the carrier adds <strong>three weekly frequencies from Minneapolis\/St. Paul<\/strong>. Le <strong>5 August<\/strong> follow <strong>daily flights from Boston<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">The Mediterranean in the spotlight<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>More good news: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/programme-aeroport-nice-20210503.html\/\">Nice airport<\/a> will once again benefit from its symbolic route to Manhattan. From <strong>8th July<\/strong> <strong>three weekly frequencies from JFK to the C\u00f4te d'Azur airport<\/strong>. With this increase in power, the <strong>Air France-Delta pairing (joint venture on the North Atlantic) becomes the largest on the France\/US route<\/strong>. According to Detla, the two companies offer nine times more capacity than its biggest competitor in France.<\/p>\n<p>Delta is also expanding its programme on <strong>the rest of the European Union<\/strong>. In July, the company resumed routes on <strong>Athens-Atlanta<\/strong>, <strong>Dubrovnik-New York<\/strong> and <strong>Venice-New York<\/strong>. <strong>Rome-New York<\/strong> will move to daily service at the same time. In August, Delta Air Lines will launch on <strong>Barcelona-Atlanta<\/strong>, <strong>Barcelona-New York<\/strong> and <strong>Venice-Atlanta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the company hopes to sign a codeshare agreement with <strong>AirBaltic<\/strong> to cover around twenty routes between the United States and the Baltic States, via Paris and Amsterdam in particular.
