{"id":110861,"date":"2021-06-18T08:42:04","date_gmt":"2021-06-18T06:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=110861"},"modified":"2021-06-18T08:42:04","modified_gmt":"2021-06-18T06:42:04","slug":"finland-lifts-restrictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/finland-lifts-restrictions","title":{"rendered":"Finland lifts its restrictions on Europeans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a press release dated 17 June, the <strong>the Finnish Ministry of the Interior has indicated that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/finnair-helsinki-souffrance-2020-20210322.html\/\">Finland<\/a> would welcome back all travellers from 21 June, <\/strong>particularly for \"non-essential\" reasons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This decision applies to all citizens of EU\/Schengen area countries.<\/strong>. Travellers must <strong>have been vaccinated against Covid-19<\/strong> with one of the approved vaccines. <strong>Or that they have completely recovered from the virus<\/strong> over a six-month period.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, <strong>other travellers in the Schengen area who have not been vaccinated or immunised against Covid may only travel for professional reasons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement from the Ministry of the Interior also states that restrictions on border traffic within the Schengen area have been reduced. These included sea borders and land borders with Sweden and Norway. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that it does not recommend that Finns travel outside the Schengen area for the time being. However, this recommendation has no legal force.<\/p>\n<p>The other way round,<strong> the government has decided to extend external border controls until 11 July<\/strong>. This measure therefore applies to entries from Russia, where the epidemic is flaring up.<\/p>\n<p>According to the World Health Organisation, as of 17 June, Finland had recorded 93,923 cases of infection and 964 deaths linked to Covid.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At long last!
