And yet it will have marked a major step towards restoring a degree of normality to everyday life. Jean Castex announced on Wednesday that the population could do without wearing the <strong>mask<\/strong> outdoors the very next day, the <strong>curfew lifted<\/strong> was brought forward to 20 June. At the same time, on 16 June, the opening of VivaTech 2021 symbolised the return of events to centre stage. It was a grand opening, with the Paris show once again bringing together a host of high-profile personalities (Emmanuel Macron, Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg...), but in a smaller format than usual. Accustomed to audiences of over 100,000 people, this time VivaTech had to respect the gauge of the <strong>5000 people<\/strong> - a limit that was already reached on the first day of the event, proving that the audience is still there. The organisers have therefore opted for a hybrid format, which has become the norm for several weeks now. The number of exhibitors was reduced to 1,400, with over 60% on site. On the Moodwork stand, the managers of this start-up specialising in well-being in the workplace - which won an award at the Univ'Airplus event in 2019 - said they were \"delighted\" to be able to present their new product.<em>happy to see people and make new contacts. Even if this edition is less productive, Vivatech is still a great show. <strong>qualitative<\/strong><\/em>.\" Especially as the limited audience had the advantage of <strong>facilitate exchanges<\/strong>With exhibitors less rushed by the flow of visitors and, above all, without the constant hubbub inherent in this type of event.<\/p>\n<p>The format <strong>hybrid<\/strong> of the event did not faze the exhibitors, the vast majority of whom were in the<strong>digital ecosystem<\/strong>. \"<em>This is exactly what we are advocating and proposing<\/em>\"As two of the presenters on the Klaxoon stand, Anne-Sophie and Sylvain, pointed out. Remote exchanges are in line with the start-up's offering, and Klaxoon demonstrated this by using its new Hybridity connected workspace (see below) for workshops with remote personalities such as yachtsman Fran\u00e7ois Gabart, the mayor of Rennes and a live speaker from Johannesburg. As for face-to-face meetings, while Anne-Sophie and Sylvain felt that, this year, \"<em>the energy wasn't the same\", \"what a pleasure to see people!<\/em>\"They were delighted.<\/p>\n<p>Julien Brichard, Witivio's Sales Director, was also delighted.<em>the desire of visitors to rediscover human contact<\/em>\". Present on the stand of its partner Microsoft, the person in charge of this platform dedicated to improving the experience of employees and voted one of the best Teams applications in 2019 believes that \"<em>It's not the Vivatech of two years ago, of course, but it's a good refresher.<\/em>\" . With no major commercial ambitions, this exhibitor's main aim was to be present with his key partner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Microsoft<\/strong>like the other main partners at Vivatech, has made a commitment to the show organisers to give its stand a sustainable dimension. This means no paper or plastic water bottles, reusable carpeting or \"made in France\" t-shirts. In fact, the entire stand will be dismantled so that it can be reused at a later date. \"<em>This is also what the crisis has accelerated<\/em>\"says Phuong Ly Ngo Patron, Head of Communications and Events at Microsoft France.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>have a digital experience as rich as the one on the stand<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>While this commitment to sustainable events is relatively new, the show's hybrid model was easily grasped by the American digital giant's teams. \"<em>We made sure that the digital experience was as rich as the one on the stand, with live sessions broadcast via Dailymotion and Twitter to amplify the event from a distance.<\/em>\"says Phuong Ly Ngo Patron. Visit <strong>start-up<\/strong> The exhibits on the site have been selected according to a number of themes, including the future of work and resilience, to give the event a clearer overview. As for attendance, \"<em>even though it was less well attended, we had good feedback on the <strong>quality of exchanges<\/strong><\/em>\"said the person in charge of organising the stand.<\/p>\n<p>As for those involved in business travel, they will have found - as they often do at VivaTech - new ideas and even new philosophies for the mobility of tomorrow. From the \"Discovery Park\" demonstration floor to the conference rooms, there was a very wide range of innovations and experiments, from ultra-fast travel in a flying taxi to the concept of... immobility. The RATP, one of the contributors to this 2021 event, embodies this multi-faceted approach to tomorrow's mobility, with its conference on \"Making Autonomous and Urban air mobility possible\", held a few hours after a discussion on the theme of \"Is immobility the future of mobility? Behind this apparent hiatus, a single ambition: to build a <strong>smart city<\/strong>It is also a smartcity capable of responding to the more complex, more immediate needs of business travellers, from a station or a vertiport... A \"Mobility as a Service\" (MaaS) trend that should also be embodied by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bonjour-appli-ratp-20210611.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new \"Bonjour\" application<\/a> presented at Vivatech. All the while bearing in mind the failures of certain experiments.
