Accor intends to transform Novotel from a standardised brand into a leader in the mid-range hotel sector. For breathe new life into its historic brand<\/strong>the French group invited teams of designers from all over the world to design its future. An idea that Accor had already applied a few years ago to rethink another of its flagship brands, Ibis.<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Four original concepts emerged from the competition, which will guide owners in their choice to give their hotel the style best suited to the destination. Lively social areas, modern, intuitive and timeless interiors, materials...<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Accor intends to transform Novotel from a standardised brand into a leader in the mid-range hotel sector. Four original concepts emerged from the competition, which will guide hotel owners in their choice of the most appropriate style for their destination. Lively social spaces, modern, intuitive and timeless interiors, high-quality, sustainable materials: these concepts reflect the evolution of societal behaviour and consumer trends in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.<\/p>\n

\"The selected designs allow us to reinterpret the way we design Novotel establishments around the world. We look forward to opening a new chapter in the brand's history<\/strong> and to take Novotel to new horizons in the coming years<\/em>\" said Damien Perrot, Accor's International Design Director.<\/p>\n

In the years to come, business travellers will be able to discover these different concepts on their travels. For example, the concept designed by sisters Irina and Olga Sundukovy is expected to be introduced at Novotel Moscow Comcity, St Petersburg Airport, Mexico City Insurgentes WTC and Victoria Island Lagos. Mixing business with pleasure<\/strong>This concept uses original living spaces to create a lively, friendly environment. Modular and sustainable, the concept designed by RF Studio will be developed at the Novotel Canela in Brazil. The idea is to create a feeling of being at home. in the heart of a village<\/strong>Guests are invited to discover a new way of living at the hotel.<\/p>\n

Metro's contemporary concept is just as much in demand in Kinshasa and Vladivostok as it is in Belo Horizonte and Criciuma in Brazil. It plays on raw materials<\/strong> and natural tones, inviting guests to enjoy a multifunctional, flexible space that evolves throughout the day. The fourth concept selected by Accor, Hypothesis focuses on reducing not only physical waste, but also wasted time and space. This design concept, which aims to provide customers with the balance they are looking for<\/strong> during their stay, will be integrated into the Novotel Lviv Centre.<\/p>\n
