June 2021, Paris-Charles de Gaulle welcomed 1.7 million passengers<\/strong> (+ 1.1 million passengers or 24.4 % of June 2019 traffic) and Paris-Orly 1.2 million passengers<\/strong> (+ 1.1 million passengers, or 39.0 % of June 2019 traffic).<\/p>\n

At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, terminals 2B, 2D, 2E and 2F are currently open to receive all commercial passenger traffic. At Paris-Orly, all sectors are open to commercial passenger traffic, with the exception of boarding gates B at Orly 1.<\/p>\n

International business recovers slowly<\/span><\/h3>\n

For Paris Airport and over the month of June 2021 :
\n- The intercontinental traffic<\/strong> (including Overseas) is up on 2020 (+ 783,368 passengers, or 25.6 % on the June 2019 level). Growth has affected every geographical cluster. L'Africa posts best result<\/strong> with traffic representing 38.5% of the June 2019 level). It is followed by Middle East<\/strong> with a traffic level of 26.1% for June 2019. Africa has the largest market share in passenger traffic at 13.6%.<\/p>\n

- L'Latin America<\/strong> in June 2021 will have a passenger volume equivalent to 17.1% of what it was in June 2019 and theNorth America<\/strong> to 16.7 %.<\/p>\n

- No surprise there, Asia-Pacific posted the worst performance<\/strong> with a level of traffic equivalent to only 7% of its June 2019 level. Its market share fell to 1.4% of total passenger volume.<\/p>\n

- Traffic to theEurope<\/strong> (outside France) is up 911,315 passengers on 2020<\/strong>. However, passenger volume is only 25.3% of what it was in June 2019.<\/p>\n

- On the Mainland France<\/strong>, traffic is gradually approaching the 50% mark<\/strong>. With 490,099 more passengers than in June 2020, June 2021 represents 47.4% of the June 2019 volume. On the overseas departments, regions and communities<\/strong>Paris turned in the best performance. June 2021 already represents 56.2% of the passenger volume of June 2019.<\/p>\n

Transfer passengers down 40.4%<\/span><\/h3>\n

ADP Group reports that the number of connecting passengers<\/strong> totalled 324,506 passengers, an increase of 252,547 passengers. i.e. 31.1 % of the June 2019 level<\/strong>. The correspondence rate was 21.9 %, down 0.5 points.<\/p>\n

Over the first half of the year, traffic at Paris Airport fell by 45.7 % to 10.7 million passengers, 20.5 % below the previous year's level.<\/strong> over the same period in 2019.The number of transfer passengers stood at 1.458 million, down 40.4% on the first half of 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The ADP group reported an increase in traffic in June at all its hubs worldwide. For Paris Airport alone, traffic was up by 2.2 million passengers compared with June 2020, with 2.9 million passengers handled. The June 2021 result represents 28.8 % of Paris Airport's June 2019
