Following its validation by the French Constitutional Council, the compulsory nature of the health step has applied since 9 August<\/strong> to a wide range of venues and events. Starting with the transport<\/strong>where the sesame is required when it comes to long-distance journeys<\/strong>. Clearly, trains with reservations - including TGV<\/strong>so - as well as domestic flights<\/strong> or inter-regional coaches will require presentation of the document. Intercity and other night trains are also affected, unlike urban travel by metro, bus or tram, which do not require a health pass. The players involved are working on integrating health data into the train or plane ticket, in the same way as theAir France<\/strong> which is testing the Ready to Fly<\/strong> <\/a>since mid-July. \"\u00a0We are simply trying to link the health pass to the ticket. Air France has carried out this experiment, which has been very satisfactory, as has Eurotunnel, and we are working with SNCF. Because we also think that these restrictions can be long-lasting, we want to organise them in an extremely serious and precise way. (...) We want to take advantage of this crisis to make travel more digital.<\/em>\" said Transport Minister Jean-Baptiste Djebbari at the end of July.<\/p>\n

For business travellers staying at thehotel<\/strong>Room service and breakfasts are not covered by this obligation, which applies to the majority of catering operators.
