On the contrary, surprisingly, <strong>more than a quarter of respondents expect an increase in travel<\/strong>. In fact, half of them (50%) now believe that meetings involving only <strong>virtual participants<\/strong> are an adequate substitute for face-to-face meetings. Only 28% of those surveyed disagreed with this view.<\/p>\n<p>British companies have had time to get a clear picture of the advantages and disadvantages of using virtual communication. According to the survey, more than nine out of ten companies (93%) have replaced domestic business travel with virtual meetings during the crisis, with 44% replacing all travel and 41% replacing at least half.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>a reduction in the proportion of journeys made by car compared with the levels reached during the pandemic<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Like the <a before the pandemic - i.e. a return to long-distance rail and domestic air travel, and a reduction in the proportion of car journeys compared to the levels achieved during the
