{"id":113101,"date":"2021-08-31T10:53:21","date_gmt":"2021-08-31T08:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=113101"},"modified":"2021-08-31T10:53:21","modified_gmt":"2021-08-31T08:53:21","slug":"eu-travel-united-states-israel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/eu-travel-united-states-israel","title":{"rendered":"EU: travel from the United States and Israel once again subject to restrictions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Non-essential travel is once again subject to restrictions - such as screening tests or quarantine - in the European Union for travellers. <strong>from the United States, but also from Israel<\/strong> as well as Lebanon, Kosovo, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia. The spread of the Delta variant has led the EU to re-examine its recommendations and remove these six countries from its 'green' list drawn up at the end of June. The EU is, however, leaving Member States the option of <strong>not to apply this restriction to travellers who are fully vaccinated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>The authorities in the Member States remain responsible for implementing the content of the recommendation.<\/em>The European Union also stressed this point in its press release of 30 August. <em>They can, in all transparency, only gradually lift travel restrictions on the countries listed.<\/em>\u00a0\"Conversely, the American and Israeli borders are also closed to international tourists.<\/p>\n<p>The countries for which travel restrictions to the EU are potentially lifted are <strong>19 from 30 August 2021<\/strong> Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brunei, Canada, Japan, Jordan, Moldova, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Ukraine and Taiwan. China, subject to confirmation of reciprocity, is also affected by the lifting of travel restrictions, as are Hong Kong and Macao.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> The European
