After months of not getting together or getting fresh air, companies are gradually getting back into the swing of getting together. With this in mind, the Luxembourg<\/a> is the ideal place to bring customers or staff together<\/strong>. One region in particular is off the beaten track<\/strong>The Moselle Valley is one of the most popular wine regions in France. \"D'Mousel\", as its inhabitants call it, is affectionate towards this landscape of hillsides, steep vineyards and fruit trees.<\/p>\n

Unexpected and friendly, the Moselle valley imposes its natural charm<\/strong> and adds sparkle to MICE operations. Both wineries were founded just over one hundred years ago, in 1921, open their cellars wide to business tourists<\/strong>. With its contemporary d\u00e9cor, the Caves Bernard-Massard is ideal for meals, cocktails, conferences and concerts for 50 to 250 participants. Domaine Vinsmoselle has an even greater capacity. Spread over several venues, it offers a wide choice of rooms of all sizes, including a harvest hall that can accommodate prestigious cocktail parties for up to 500 people<\/strong>. All of this is complemented by guided tastings and even wine walks with tastings in the vineyards.<\/p>\n

Chardonnay, pinot gris and riesling for the whites, pinot noir for the reds and, above all, some excellent cr\u00e9mants: the wines of Domaine Vinsmoselle and Caves Bernard-Massard have succeeded in seduce the most demanding tasters<\/strong>This was particularly the case at the recent Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. For the occasion, the competition was held neither in Brussels - given its reputation, this international competition now travels the world - nor, as initially planned, in Yinchuan, China, but... in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n

Due to Covid, the organisers had to find a fallback solution in less than six months. rethink the format of the event<\/strong>. Held at the Alvisse Parc H\u00f4tel, not far from the capital, the competition was spread over ten days rather than three, with tastings of more than 10,000 bottles in separate groups. A success made possible by the responsiveness of local players<\/strong>In particular, the Luxembourg Convention Bureau, which was heavily involved in planning the event from the outset.<\/p>\n

The professionalism of Luxembourg's events sector is well known and extends to innovative teambuilding activities<\/strong> like the one proposed by the Meetincs agency, halfway between treasure hunt, escape game and oenological discovery. But who could have stolen the soul of wine? Plunged into the darkness of a cellar, participants have to show team spirit, perspicacity and composure to solve the enigma...<\/p>\n

But the Moselle valley offers much more than just wine. For example, the river lends itself to water sports<\/strong>The region is also famous for its thermal waters, which are ideal for the treatment of skin diseases. seminars combining work and relaxation<\/strong>. Set in the heart of a century-old park covering more than 45 hectares, the Mondorf spa estate can cater for all types of corporate events, with its two hotels, 15 rooms and lounges and indoor capacity for 400 people.<\/p>\n

To enhance these events, in addition to the unmissable tastings, the Moselle valley offers a host of possible visits<\/strong>. The region is dotted here and there with medieval towns such as Remich, the \"Pearl of the Moselle\", but it is also home to trendy places like Remerschen. It's here, at the foot of the vineyards, on an artificial island in the heart of a nature reserve, that the \"Moselle Pearl\" is taking shape. the futuristic silhouette of the Biodiversum<\/strong>a nature protection centre where participants can raise their awareness of environmental protection. Another village in the region has made a name for itself: Schengen. A symbol of open borders in Europe, it has a museum celebrating the history of European integration.<\/p>\n

To take our understanding of this historic event even further, the Schengen municipality recently concluded the purchase of the boat on which the famous agreements were signed in 1985<\/strong>. Formerly known as the \"M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid\" and now the \"M.S. Regensburg\", this boat is currently used for excursions on the Danube. But it is due to return to the Moselle in 2025 to serve as both an exhibition space and a river vessel.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, tourists can go to Grevenmacher and board a more recent boat, dating from 2010. Taking on the name of \"M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid\", it sails through Grevenmacher and its surroundings. the Moselle on the water<\/strong>It's a boat with a panoramic view of vineyards, hills and forests. A boat that doubles up as a seminar room for inspiring workshops, far from the daily grind.<\/p>\n

What better way to discover the Moselle valley than by the water? In a hot-air balloon, no doubt<\/strong>. The New Spirit Balloons agency has five balloons at its disposal, one of which, the largest in Luxembourg, can accommodate up to 12 people. Assemble, inflate and take off: time stands still before returning to more earthly pleasures, with so many local specialities to discover. And to accompany it all, Moselle wine. Naturally.<\/p>\n
