A fireplace to welcome guests as soon as they walk through the door, the view of guests wandering off into the distance towards the bar, to the left towards the lounge, to the right towards a room where neighbours from the neighbourhood come to sit and work for a few hours free of charge: from the moment they enter, the Maison M\u00e8re hotel sets the tone fora welcoming establishment, open to others and the life around it<\/strong>The spaces designed by Alexandre Danan blend into one another with great fluidity. \"\u00a0It's like coming home to a Parisian flat<\/em>\" says Aziz Temimi, the founder of Maison M\u00e8re, who comes from a family of hoteliers spanning three generations, and whose sense of hospitality is also evident at Le Belmont, in the 8th arrondissement.<\/p>\n

Opened at the beginning of September on rue Mayran, this\u00a0a hybrid space with flexible contours<\/em>\u00a0\"is the result of the transformation of a former three-star hotel located just a stone's throw from Square Montholon into a top-of-the-range hotel. It is ideally located for business travellers, as it is within easy reach of the city centre. between Northern stations<\/a> and St Lazare<\/strong>The hotel is located in the 9th arrondissement, which is home to a large number of company headquarters. Companies to which the hotel dedicates corporate contracts offering fixed prices for the year<\/strong>These prices range from 169 euros to 199 euros, depending on the room category, and include breakfast, ironing and a welcome drink.<\/p>\n

The hotel's 51 rooms, including two suites, have all been designed with professionals in mind. Starting with the sockets and USB ports placed everywhere and, above all, the small bench and bedside table installed next to the bed, which make it possible to work at a safe distance from the smart TV<\/strong>. Palace-quality bedding, complete darkness guaranteed by thick curtains, coffee machine, NUXE products, interactive tablet, ultra-fast WiFi: relatively small in size, between 15m2 and 18m2 for the standard and superior categories, the rooms have all the comforts you need for a relaxed, productive stay. At lunchtime, the hotel also offers business lunches (starter-main course-dessert) at low prices, around \u20ac25.<\/p>\n

That's it for the day, because come evening, the hotel allows itself more naughty side steps<\/strong> with its locavore-style Hey Honey bar and restaurant, where cocktails are chosen according to mood using tarot cards, and where on Friday evenings local guests and hotel residents can watch a burlesque striptease in the style of Dita von Teese.<\/p>\n

Hip hop yoga sessions in the mornings, tattoo workshops at weekends, Drag Bingo Aperitivo on Saturdays: Maison M\u00e8re is anything but a functional establishment. It is also at the heart of neighbourhood life<\/strong>The hotel's main feature is its \"open door\" policy, which allows local artisans to host exhibitions and meetings. While six artists are invited every six months to present their work on the six floors, the hotel has found a way to ensure its constant contemporaneity: its decoration is as much to look at as to buy.<\/p>\n

\"\u00a0Almost everything is for sale, and what hasn't been sold will be by the end of the year.<\/em>says Aziz Temimi.
