The countries affected by this measure are<strong>Botswana, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although flights will resume on 4 December, they will be strictly reserved for a handful of categories of travellers: <strong>Only French citizens, EU nationals, diplomats and flight crews will be allowed on board.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-france-afrique-20220915.html\/\" data-id=\"130965\">Air France adjusts its frequencies to Africa<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>On arrival in France, a <strong>isolation will nevertheless be necessary<\/strong>. \"French nationals stranded in the seven countries concerned will be able to return to France by showing a negative test on leaving, with a test on arrival as well as a negative test on arrival. <strong>isolation between 7 and 10 days<\/strong>. We're not taking any risks,\" said the government spokesman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Air France<\/strong> indicates that it is awaiting the final health authorisations from the supervisory authorities before resuming its flights to Johannesburg. However, flights to Mauritius are not currently affected by the restrictions. On the airline's website, passengers can rebook flights to both destinations, and should check the latest information on the airline's home page.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The French government has announced that flights to southern Africa will resume from Saturday 4 December.
