Lufthansa has just revealed that it will operate <strong>160 lines in Europe; <\/strong>that it will also be launching a <strong>new link to the United States<\/strong>. And that it r<strong>its intercontinental hub in Munich<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Europe, Lufthansa will offer from <strong>Frankfurt<\/strong> new flights to <strong>Stavanger (Norway), Liverpool and now Rennes<\/strong>. A <strong>Munich<\/strong>The airline will mainly offer leisure destinations around the Mediterranean. But it will also launch flights to <strong>Bergen in Norway and Billund in Denmark<\/strong>. The Danish airport provides quick access to the major cities of Aarhus and Odense.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">St Louis, a novelty in the United States<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>On the intercontinental front, Lufthansa will launch in June from <strong>Frankfurt<\/strong> a regular service to <strong>St Louis<\/strong> in Missouri. It will be the first continental European airline to serve this American metropolis in 20 years. The new long-haul leisure subsidiary <strong>Eurowings Discovery<\/strong> will also offer flights to <strong>Panama, Mal\u00e9 in the Maldives as well as Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Munich, the carrier is expanding its long-haul network<\/strong>. Lufthansa is thus resuming its non-stop service on <strong>Bangkok<\/strong> and offers new connections to <strong>San Diego<\/strong> in the United States and to<strong> Rio de Janeiro<\/strong> in Brazil. The airline will also be putting four Airbus A350-900s into service at its Bavarian hub.
