It allows passengers of both airlines to benefit from connections on the North Atlantic. Customers travelling from Europe with easyJet will benefit from Virgin Atlantic flights from the UK airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This partnership makes it possible to<strong>increase connecting opportunities, particularly on the very important US\/Europe route<\/strong>. Before the Covid crisis, Manchester was the UK's leading airport outside London, with traffic of almost 24 million passengers a year. <strong>In particular, the platform was connected to numerous cities in North America, the Middle East, the Indian sub-continent and China.<\/strong>. Manchester should end 2021 with 5 million passengers. In 2020, the airport hit an all-time low with just 2.5 million passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p>Thanks to Worldwide by Easyjet's Dohop technology, customers can easily make connections between easyJet and Virgin Atlantic flights in Manchester. Connecting destinations on the North Atlantic currently include<strong> Barbados, New York and Orlando<\/strong>. Over time, the system has integrated other connection platforms. These include <strong>Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Milan-Malpensa, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/worldwide-by-easyjet-menacer-air-france-20191025.html\/\">Paris-CDG and Orly<\/a> or Venice<\/strong>. A<strong> Berlin<\/strong>Worldwide is working with the DB network. This is the first time that a rail partner has been part of the \"Worldwide by easyJet\" platform. <strong>Manchester becomes the 9th airport to join the online platform<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/long-courrier-virgin-atlantic-20230704.html\/\" data-id=\"151757\">New long-haul flights for Virgin Atlantic<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The principle for \"Worldwide\" users is \"auto-correspondence\". Luggage is automatically routed to the final destination. But <strong>neither easyJet nor its partner pays for the passenger's connecting time<\/strong>. Travellers must integrate <strong>a \"connection time\" of 2 hours and 30 minutes<\/strong> on average. This gives passengers enough time to change flights and terminals. However, if a passenger misses a connecting flight, Worldwide by easyJet will transfer them to the next available flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EasyJet connects Manchester<\/strong> from six destinations in French-speaking Europe: <strong>Basel\/Mulhouse, Bordeaux, Geneva, Lyon, Nice and Paris CDG<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/virgin-atlantic-skyteam-20220928.html\/\" data-id=\"132411\">Virgin Atlantic to join Skyteam from early
