In a press release, its mayor, Bruno Marchand, said. \"This is a great day for the airport and for Quebec City, which is now one of only 4 cities in Canada to benefit from a direct flight with Air France. This agreement will generate major economic spin-offs for Quebec City [...] For our entrepreneurs, for whom France is their main export market, this agreement between Air France and the airport opens up a host of new opportunities. The French airline will thus be the second after Air Transat to land in the Quebec capital.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian leisure company is also benefiting from the Quebec support fund for the launch of<strong>a line from London Gatwick to Quebec City<\/strong>. The carrier will start <strong>on 11 May, two weekly flights by A321neoLR<\/strong>.
