This represents 45.6 % of group traffic in 2019.<\/strong>. However, results in Paris remain below those for the Group as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>For <strong>Paris Airport<\/strong> alone, <strong>traffic is up by 26.8 % for 2021<\/strong>. Paris-Orly did better, with the airport benefiting from the strong recovery in domestic and European traffic in the spring. The total number of passengers rose by 45.6 % in 2021. The closure of the Asian borders and the late reopening of the United States explain the slower growth of the Air France hub at CDG.<\/div>\n<div><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Traffic in Europe (excluding France) is up by 35.2 % compared with 2020, to 37.8 % of the 2019 level;<\/div>\n<div><strong>&#8211;<\/strong> <strong>Traffic in mainland France is up by 26.6 % compared with 2020, to 52.7 % of the 2019 level.<\/strong> ;<\/div>\n<div><strong>&#8211;<\/strong> DROM-COM traffic (as part of international traffic) is up by 16.3 % compared with 2020, to 63.6 % of the 2019 level;<\/div>\n<div><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>The number of connecting passengers rose by 21.2 %.
