Those involved in the travel process try to guide them through this administrative maze, to make sure that they cross the right border with the right documents. With the problem still unresolved at the start of 2022, Sabre is now tackling this headache. The platform <strong>Sabre SafePoint<\/strong> now includes a function for monitoring travel restrictions. The aim is to help travel agencies, corporate customers and travellers to monitor new restrictions more closely, or the easing of measures.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>keep travellers and business travel managers informed of key events in a fast-changing world<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\" <em>As the sector recovers, we believe that an alert and protection solution is imperative for any travel business, particularly in a world where travel advice can change rapidly.<\/em> \"says Saunvit Pandya, Senior Director of Product Management at Sabre. \" <em>SafePoint is designed to keep travellers and business travel managers informed of critical events in a rapidly changing world. We are delighted to be working with our customers to provide them with products to better fulfil their duty of care to travellers.<\/em> \".<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this launch, another travel industry player has also undertaken to reference regulatory developments likely to affect travellers. <strong>Ulysse<\/strong> announced on Tuesday the launch of <strong>Travelnews<\/strong>. The French start-up, which specialises in booking airline tickets, provides information for each destination, including the extent to which borders are open, compulsory tests, quarantines and the opening of public places. Ulysse draws on both official sources, in particular the website of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a review of the French and international
