Last year, the city centre saw the opening of a new five-star boutique hotel, the Villas Foch. Also in 2021, the Euratlantique district and the area around Saint-Jean station will see the inauguration of a four-star design hotel in the former Bordeaux Institute of Zoology, appropriately named La Zoologie, as well as a new-generation youth hostel from the German group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/voyageurs-affaires-hotels-meininger-20201015.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meininger<\/a>. These two establishments join the B&amp;B, Golden Tulip and Hilton Garden Inn hotels that have opened in recent years in Bordeaux's new business centre.<\/p>\n<p>The Hilton Garden Inn, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hilton-garden-inn-bordeaux-20180801.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the American group's first hotel in Bordeaux<\/a>symbolises <strong>the recent attraction of major international groups<\/strong> in relation to a destination with a world-renowned name. While Britain's IHG was among the first to be seduced by the city with its prestigious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/intercontinental-simplante-a-bordeaux-20150728.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">InterContinental<\/a>With the addition of Holiday Inns in Pessac and the M\u00e9rignac airport zone, the internationalisation of Bordeaux's hotel offer will continue in the coming years.<\/p>\n<h3>More international names expected in Bordeaux<\/h3>\n<p>The Sheraton brand is arriving right next to the airport, with a 177-room hotel integrated into the <strong>45e Parall\u00e8le business park<\/strong>. The complex, developed by Nexity, is due for completion at the end of 2022 and will combine accommodation, offices and a 1,757 m\u00b2 conference centre with seminar, coworking and reception areas.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, in June last year, the Marriott group, which owns the Sheration chain, already made <strong>double coup in Bordeaux<\/strong> by integrating two other of its brands - <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bassins-flot-bordeaux-moxy-renaissance-20210531.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Renaissance and Moxy<\/a> - next to the Bassins \u00e0 Flot, at the foot of the Cit\u00e9 du Vin. A prime location for companies in the digital economy, it has already attracted the interest of the Radisson group, with a hotel due to open in 2018, and more recently of the business chain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bb-hotels-developpement-france-international-20210623.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">B&amp;B Hotels<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this booming area is Bordeaux's historic business district, <strong>Meriadeck<\/strong>which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, has begun its refurbishment. It is now one of the Hyatt group's lifestyle hotels,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-six-projets-europe-bordeaux-20210907.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> of the Joie de Vivre (JdV) brand,<\/a> which will make its French debut in the former Allianz offices, while a Hampton Inn by Hilton budget hotel has also been announced for M\u00e9riadeck in 2023. As for the Burdigala, long Bordeaux's main upmarket hotel located nearby, it has closed its doors in October 2021, auctioned off its furnishings and embarked on a renovation programme under the leadership of interior designer Fabien Roque.<\/p>\n<p>While <strong>new districts in tune with the times<\/strong> will continue to evolve in the metropolis, and concepts adapted to these locations will play their part in this evolution. So, while a hotel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/eklo-toulouse-lyon-roissy-2022-20211129.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eklo<\/a> will open its doors in 2019 in the Bastide Niel eco-neighbourhood in the making. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/mob-hotel-culture-20170310.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hotel MOB<\/a>a lifestyle
