This global event will be accompanied by a host of hotel projects throughout the year leading up to the kick-off of the competition. <strong>Each project more emblematic than the last<\/strong>And yet, some of them still manage to stand out. In Lusail, the city hosting the stadium for the final, the Katara Towers, recognisable by their scimitar shape, will house an ultra-exclusive 132-suite Raffles and, linked to it by an event space, the luxurious Fairmont Doha.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_117787\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-117787\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/qatar-rosewood-doha.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-117787 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/qatar-rosewood-doha.jpg\" alt=\"Rosewood Doha.\" width=\"700\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/qatar-rosewood-doha.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/qatar-rosewood-doha-300x150-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-117787\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rosewood Doha.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the heart of the capital Doha, the architecture of the two towers that will house the Rosewood Doha and Rosewood Residences is just as impressive, with Qatari architect Ibrahim Jaidah having drawn inspiration from coral reefs for this <strong>a place dedicated to both nature and excess<\/strong> with 185 rooms and suites, 173 flats and 300 residences, swimming pools and restaurants galore and a vast reception hall.<\/p>\n<p>While Hyatt is planning to open an Andaz hotel in Doha in the near future, the Marriott group will be opening more hotels with Le M\u00e9ridien and the Luxury Collection within the <strong>Place Vendome complex, inspired by Parisian chic,<\/strong> but also a luxury and lifestyle Edition hotel in the West Bay business district, a St. Regis on the artificial island of The Pearl-Qatar and a long-stay hotel under the Element brand. However, the hotel industry in Qatar is also expanding into less expensive accommodation options, such as a budget Hampton by Hilton hotel expected to open in Doha's old town in early 2022.<\/p>\n<h3>Doha poses as a competitor to Dubai<\/h3>\n<p>This diversification of the hotel offer is already well underway at <strong>Dubai<\/strong> and will continue to do so in 2022. While the Emirate saw the opening in December of a hotel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/25hours-copenhague-dubai-20220117.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">25Hours<\/a>The Bedouin-style tents are located in the heart of the business district, but another leading brand will be bringing its lifestyle spirit to Dubai with<strong> a Mama Shelter expected at the end of the year<\/strong> in the heart of the city. The artificial island of Palm Jumeirah, for example, will see the construction of a Hilton-brand seaside hotel in the spring, followed by a 608-room Marriott resort in the summer. <strong>In a more lifestyle style<\/strong>The American group expects to unveil a new product in the coming months. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyde-w-lifestyle-dubai-20211117.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">W<\/a> overlooking Jumeirah Beach. As for luxury, 2022 will be marked by the arrival at the end of the year of the Dorchester Collection with the hotel<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lifestyle-luxe-inaugurations-dubai-20211222.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> The Lana<\/a>The centre is housed in a new iconic building designed by Foster+Partners in the Business Bay district.<\/p>\n<h3>The Middle East as attractive as ever<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to Dubai and Qatar, the Middle East as a whole is still open for business. <strong>wide-ranging development opportunities<\/strong> hotel groups. But the capital Muscat will also be home to a Citadines urban residence during 2022, demonstrating the growth opportunities in the region for long-stay accommodation specialists. In this context,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/developpement-ascott-adagio-2022-20220118.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> the Ascott group<\/a>the owner of the Citadines brand, expects to open several new stores in the near future, in Doha, Jeddah and Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia. <strong>Saudi Arabia<\/strong>In addition to Somerset residences, there is also a Citadines in Al Khobar and a top-of-the-range Ascott aparthotel in Riyadh.<\/p>\n<h3>Looking to Africa<\/h3>\n<p>However, the Singaporean group will also be exploring the African continent with the opening of Somerset residences in 2022.<strong> Addis Ababa<\/strong> and <strong>Nairobi<\/strong>This is the first step towards wider growth in the region. Already one of the most active hoteliers in Africa, the Radisson Group will be discovering new markets in the first quarter of next year, with <strong>Madagascar<\/strong>the Radisson Blu Antananarivo Waterfront and the first hotel in the <strong>South Sudan<\/strong>in Juba.<\/p>\n<p>As far as North Africa is concerned, in addition to a new Hilton in <strong>Egypt<\/strong>the Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi, due to open in the autumn in the embassy district, it is the <strong>Morocco<\/strong> which continues to attract hotel groups. Its capital <strong>Rabat<\/strong> is expecting two major developments this year, with the opening in autumn of the Conrad Rabat Arzana, a Hilton Group luxury hotel with 120 rooms overlooking the ocean and 600 m2 of meeting space. The opening of this hotel will be preceded by that of another luxury hotel, the Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Sal\u00e9, which will dominate the historic districts of Rabat and Sal\u00e9.
