A vast <strong>strike action<\/strong> forces the <strong>RATP<\/strong> to be recommended to \" <em>all passengers who are able to do so [to] postpone their travel on the network on that day<\/em> \". And with good reason: the <strong>metro<\/strong> 2, 3bis, 5, 7bis, 8, 10, 11 and 12 will be abolished. <strong>interrupted<\/strong> Friday. The other lines will be limited to a <strong>peak hour operation<\/strong> - i.e. from 6.30am to 9.30am and then from 4.30pm to 7.30pm - with severe traffic disruption and a route that has sometimes been cut back. RATP expects one train out of every 2 during rush hour on the <strong>RER A and B<\/strong>compared with 1 in 3 at off-peak times. What's more, <strong>2 out of 3 buses <\/strong>should be running on Friday. But RATP is already talking about \" <em>variations from one sector to another, up to and including <strong>closure of some lines<\/strong><\/em> \".
