Each Boeing 777-300ER has <strong>24 Premium Economy Class seats<\/strong> integrated into a rigid shell. The seat is between 46 and 48 cm wide instead of 43.4 cm in Economy.<strong> Spacing is 99 cm instead of 78.7 cm<\/strong>. Equipped with a footrest, the seat reclines without disturbing the passengers in the previous row.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Enhanced on-board service<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Premium Economy Class passengers will receive a travel toilet bag from Skysupply. This innovative product made from kraft paper and paper pulp aims to reduce the use of plastic. Passengers also receive high-quality noise-cancelling headphones, which further enhance the cinema or music experience on the 15.6-inch screen. On board, <strong>they also benefit from an enhanced culinary offer with a welcome drink and three hot dishes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Customers can also take <strong>two pieces of luggage weighing 23 kg<\/strong> each, twice as many as in Economy Class, and can also use the <strong>Swiss Business exhibitions<\/strong> Geneva and Zurich airports<strong> at preferential rates<\/strong>. The Swiss Arrival Lounge is also available in Zurich at the same preferential conditions.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">New technology to reduce fuel consumption<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>What's more, <strong>Swiss will be the first airline in the world to use the new AeroSHARK surface technology<\/strong> to reduce its CO\u2082 emissions and fuel consumption. The fuselage and engine nacelles of its 12 Boeing 777-300ERs will gradually be coated with a special film developed by Lufthansa Technik and BASF.<\/p>\n<p>Reducing drag, <strong>this material will enable Swiss to reduce the fuel consumption of its Boeing 777s by more than 1 %<\/strong> while significantly reducing its CO\u2082 emissions.
