And <strong>half of them (52%) estimate that 100% of travel volumes could have made a comeback by the end of 2024<\/strong>. In detail, some buyers (8%) are resolutely optimistic, looking forward to a return to business travel...<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vapo-content\" style=\"display:none\"><p>Looking for a light at the end of the tunnel, the business travel industry is looking for a deadline to cling to in order to see a return to pre-crisis travel volumes. And <strong>half of them (52%) estimate that 100% of travel volumes could have made a comeback by the end of 2024<\/strong>. In detail, some buyers (8%) are resolutely optimistic, expecting business travel to make a comeback this year, 14% in 2023, and finally 30% in 2024. By way of comparison, in a previous survey conducted in September 2021, only 3% of travel managers were banking on 2022, and 11% on 2024. It should be noted that, without returning to pre-crisis levels, almost half of buyers (48 %) believe that <strong>In 2022, up to 59 % of these volumes will be sold.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The study published by BTS also confirms the trend pointed out a few days earlier by CWT: the weight of restrictions and <strong>formalities<\/strong> which still govern international travel. This is the main reason for reducing business travel for a third of travel buyers (34%), twice as much as the need to reduce costs (17%). Business travellers' reluctance to return to the airport plays only a minor role (4%). It should be noted that the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/visioconferences-salle-comble-20200326.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>videoconferencing<\/strong> <\/a>(12%), the <strong>sustainable development<\/strong> (13%) and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/duty-of-care-exercice-20180723.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">duty of care<\/a><\/strong> (15%) are the other obstacles cited by travel
