An aircraft which, according to the airline's CEO, Tony Douglas, CEO of the Etihad Group, opens the doors to the future for the carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>This is a new stage in our development, one in which this aircraft will enable us to achieve carbon neutrality even faster, by significantly reducing our CO2 emissions. <strong>In the aviation industry, we have set ourselves the target of reducing our emissions by 50% by 2035 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.<\/strong>. Tony Douglas confirmed that Etihad has ordered 12 A350-1000s with an option for a further eight. The airline is due to receive five this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>the plane should fly to the United States. Probably New York and Chicago. But also India and probably Australia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked about the routes that the A350-1000 could serve, Tony Douglas said that, unfortunately, the A350-1000 would not be able to serve all of them,<strong> the Paris stopover is unlikely to see the brand new aircraft on a scheduled flight<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>We are now reacting very flexibly in terms of aircraft rotation, based in particular on the profitability of routes with this or that aircraft. While there is no absolute certainty about A350-1000 services, I can say that <strong>the aircraft is scheduled to fly to the United States<\/strong>. Probably New York and Chicago. <strong>But also India and probably Australia<\/strong><\/em>\" said Tony Douglas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On board, passengers benefit from a new business class: 44 seats, with a configuration that seems very dense. However, this private space offers a high level of comfort, with a staggered layout, a sleeper seat over two metres long and an insulation wall.
