But while European traffic is recovering this spring, Lufthansa's low-cost subsidiary remains curiously absent from the Paris market. It now only offers one route from <strong>Paris CDG <\/strong>for <strong>Hamburg<\/strong>. There will be two flights a day between the two cities.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the other main line <strong>Paris CDG-D\u00fcsseldorf<\/strong> <strong>has been discreetly suspended<\/strong>. The company was in fact faced with a massive presence of<strong>Air France<\/strong>. The latter proposes<strong> five daily flights<\/strong> with a HOP Embraer 190. Not to mention one or two direct daily rail connections with <strong>Thalys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand<strong> Eurowings has a stronger regional presence<\/strong>. <strong>Nice<\/strong> is the main beneficiary of the German carrier's presence. It serves Cologne\/Bonn (6 to 7 weekly flights), D\u00fcsseldorf (1 daily flight), Hamburg (4 weekly flights) and Stuttgart (4 to 5 weekly flights). Eurowings is also inaugurating a weekly flight every Thursday on 28 April to <strong>Stockholm-Arlanda<\/strong>its new base. A second Tuesday flight will be added in early June.<\/p>\n<p>Transport also offers eight flights a week between<strong> Lyon and D\u00fcsseldorf<\/strong>three flights a week between <strong>Marseille and D\u00fcsseldorf<\/strong> and one flight a week between <strong>Bastia and Stuttgart<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eurowings, the German low-cost subsidiary of the Lufthansa group, prefers to concentrate on the French regions rather than Paris.
