Suspended since the start of the crisis, service to <strong>New York-JFK from Paris-Orly<\/strong> reopened on 27 March, complementing the service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. That's 8 flights a day (6 Air France flights and 2 Delta flights). From early June, there will be regular departures every hour or every two hours during the day from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, as well as approximately one departure per hour from late afternoon onwards from New York JFK. Finally, on 4 May, for the second year running, the airline will be opening its new <strong>a seasonal service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Denver (Colorado)<\/strong>with 3 weekly flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air France is also strengthening its services to <strong>Canada<\/strong>This summer, supply was 25 % higher than before the crisis. It will thus become the <strong>Europe's leading airline in terms of capacity between Europe and Canada<\/strong> and will open a<strong> direct service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Quebec City<\/strong> on 17 May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-afrique-revient-en-force-l-asie-stagne\"><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Africa back in force, Asia stagnates<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Africa, Air France is returning to its pre-crisis levels of activity thanks to the addition of frequencies on numerous destinations. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/abidjan-le-plateau-leconomie-ivoirienne-sur-grand-plateau-20191107.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Abidjan<\/a><\/strong>(C\u00f4te d'Ivoire) will be linked to Paris-Charles de Gaulle by two daily flights and seasonal connections to <strong>Zanzibar <\/strong>(Tanzania)<strong> and Banjul <\/strong>(Gambia) will be extended over the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's always <strong>Asia<\/strong> that traffic remains below pre-Covid crisis levels. While Air France is maintaining virtually all its destinations, these are benefiting from a <strong>reduced number of flights<\/strong>. The flight schedule to India (<strong>Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai<\/strong>) will be stepped up to support the reopening of the country to international flights on 27 March 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-france-un-redressement-confirme-au-2eme-trimestre-20210730.html\/\" data-id=\"112313\">Air France: recovery confirmed in the 2nd quarter<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-court-et-moyen-courrier-renforcement-de-l-offre-loisirs-au-coeur-de-l-ete\"><span style=\"color: #a71f31;\">Short- and medium-haul: a stronger leisure offer at the height of summer<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On the short and medium-haul network, Air France is pursuing its strategy of <strong>redeployment to leisure destinations<\/strong>. It will therefore offer capacity similar to pre-crisis levels in July and August, with the opening this summer of <strong>23 seasonal routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle<\/strong>. There are three new additions: Zakynthos in Greece, Tirana and Tenerife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>Paris-Orly<\/strong>new routes will be offered throughout the summer to <strong>Algiers <\/strong>(3 flights a day, subject to the country's reopening conditions) <strong>and Tunis<\/strong> (1 flight a day from 29 May), in addition to flights from Charles de Gaulle. Connections to<strong> Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Bari<\/strong>already on offer in 2021, will be extended with additional frequencies. In total, there will be <strong>78 European destinations with flights to CDG or Orly<\/strong>. There are also 17 domestic routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, Air France will be offering <strong>47 summer routes departing from the French regions<\/strong>. The airports of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/marseille-radieuse-mediterranee-20171018.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marseille<\/a> <\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/mice-cote-dazur-nice-20211025.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nice<\/a><\/strong>will each see the opening of two new routes in July<strong>.<\/strong> Santorini and Tunis from Marseille and Heraklion and London Heathrow from Nice. The <strong>Corsica<\/strong> will benefit from summer services from Bordeaux, Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Pau, Rennes and Strasbourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transavia, <\/strong>will operate on the domestic network <strong>from Paris-Orly to Brest, Biarritz, Montpellier, Perpignan, Pau and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/la-rade-du-futur-toulon-20210827.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toulon<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-france-ete-2023-20230317.html\/\" data-id=\"145207\">Africa, North America and Asia in the spotlight this summer with Air France<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air France has announced that its summer schedule is almost back to pre-Covid crisis levels, with almost 200 destinations.
