This decision was taken today and communicated to passengers and staff.<\/em>\" said the management of Brussels Airlines. It continued: \"\u00a0<em>This extends the experience at the airport, where masks have not been compulsory for some time, to the plane itself.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/masque-transports-16-mai-20220511.html\/\" data-id=\"124883\">Plane, train, taxi, metro: end of mask on 16 May<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The plane has always been a place where the risk of infection is very low<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This measure is an exception in the Belgian transport sector. Masks are still compulsory on trains and other public transport services. To justify this decision, the company points to the specific operation of the airline sector: \"\u00a0<em>Air travel has always been a place where the risk of infection is very low, thanks to advanced air filtering systems. Now that the mask is no longer required, we are one step closer to a \"normal\" travel experience after the pandemic. In some foreign airports, masks are still compulsory.
