At the other end of the district, towards the esplanade, it's a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/mama-shelter-la-defense-mars-20220203.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mama Shelter<\/a> which moved in last March with a 211-room hotel topped by a rooftop. In the same way, this contemporary accommodation is just as attractive to individual leisure customers, who can extend their stay beyond the week to weekends and holidays. To attract travellers, \"\u00a0<em><strong>more affordable prices<\/strong> than in the centre of Paris, while being easy to access by metro and car - which is not easy at La D\u00e9fense - with access via the platforms and a large car park.<\/em>\" says the manager of this new hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its sophisticated design by Thierry d'Istria, the Tribe Paris La D\u00e9fense is the embodiment of the idea of a \"new world\". <strong>affordable luxury<\/strong> by converting two office buildings belonging to the Orange Group into a top-of-the-range hotel of <strong>184 rooms and suites<\/strong>. The restaurant menu is inspired by these distant origins, with, for example, a meat pie revisited as a pie, a slice of beetroot - a very popular vegetable 'down under' - in the burgers rather than a slice of tomato, or bacon &amp; eggs for breakfast. Not forgetting Australian wines and beers, of course. The central point of the establishment, the \"social hub\" offers a variety of spaces and seating for all these occasions, from a table d'h\u00f4tes where several people can sit down to more intimate corners. A lively lobby that doubles up as a coffee shop and coworking space in the mornings and afternoons, then as an afterwork cocktail bar until the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/accor-tribe-lifestyle-saint-ouen-20230206.html\/\" data-id=\"142075\">Lifestyle brand Tribe sets up shop in Saint-Ouen<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>The first floor is home to what Romain Folliot describes as the \"\u00a0<em>nugget<\/em>\u00a0\"of its establishment, the <strong>Byron Bar<\/strong>. Here too, the name is a reference to Australia and its surfers' paradise, Byron Bay. The highlight of this bar is not only its cocktail menu, some of which is designed by mixologist Matthias Giroud in line with the current 'low alcohol' trend. Above all, it is extended by a green terrace and a Japanese garden, so you can make the most of the fine weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pour-des-reunions-et-evenements-atypiques\">For unusual meetings and events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aimed at residents and visitors alike, this space can also be used by businesses\".\u00a0<em>for business or leisure breakfasts. <strong>be privatised for afterwork or events<\/strong><\/em>\" adds Romain Folliot. In total, the Byron Bar can accommodate 40 to 50 people standing indoors, and can scale up to events of 50 to 90 people including the terrace.
