This <strong>new Premium Comfort class<\/strong> unveiled by KLM at the end of May, is due to make its debut this summer on board a 787-10. KLM then plans to <strong>convert the entire 777 and 787 fleet by the end of 2023<\/strong>. Following the example of Air France with its La Premi\u00e8re cabin, priority should be given to flights to Europe.<strong>North America<\/strong>. The new seats to be fitted to the Premium Comfort, designed by Collins Aerospace, are distinguished by their reduced weight, while also boasting improved comfort, with increased width and legroom. The reclining angle will also be - slightly - improved compared to economy class, while the entertainment screen will now have a diagonal of 13.3 inches, compared to 9 to 11 inches in economy class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-image-125739\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"491\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/klm-premium.jpg\" alt=\"KLM\" class=\"wp-image-125739\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/klm-premium.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/klm-premium-300x210-derived.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/klm-premium-100x70-derived.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption>Depending on the Boeing redesigned by KLM, the capacity of the new Premium Comfort will be between 21 and 28 seats.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The catering offer, which will be based on reusable or recycled materials, will also be improved compared to the \"classic\" offer. Passengers in Premium Comfort class will be served <strong>one or two hot meals on intercontinental flights<\/strong>In addition, KLM offers a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes. KLM also mentions \" <em>a variety of snacks and cocktails (...) served between meals, many of which will be selected from those previously popular in World Business Class<\/em> \".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-india-classe-economy-premium-20221024.html\/\" data-id=\"135157\">Air India launches a Premium Economy class<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, the passenger journey through the airport will also benefit from this new intermediate option. This is because, <strong>KLM<\/strong> will give you access to certain benefits <strong>SkyPriority<\/strong> for Premium Comfort passengers. The Dutch airline will be offering them <strong>priority check-in and boarding<\/strong>and a <strong>baggage policy<\/strong> will be proposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We have high expectations for this new Premium Comfort class<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>With this new intermediary offer, KLM joins the club of airlines that have opted for Premium Economy. A club that has grown exponentially in recent weeks, with announcements from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/finnair-economy-premium-long-courrier-20220211.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Finnair<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/premium-economy-swiss-20220303.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Swiss<\/a><\/strong>or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/premium-emirates-paris-cdg-20220509.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Emirates<\/strong> <\/a>at the beginning of May.
